Generations

We are a family run flower farm specialising in seasonal cut flowers for florists, designers and flower lovers. Nestled in the village of Yanderra, Wollondilly Shire, at the foothills of the Southern Highlands.

The farm is filled with a selection of over 100 different varieties of blooms and foliages — from the scented blooms of lilacs, lavender and snapdragons to the riotous summer colours of flowering gum, dahlias and hydrangea.

Our cultivated blooms and foliages are supplied to the wholesale flower market, select farmers markets, and from the farm 'Flower Shed'. We also create hand-selected bouquets reflecting the rhythm and seasonality of the farm.

We nurture the land, grow with the seasons, and celebrate the beauty that blooms from thoughtful, careful cultivation.

We believe in working in harmony with the earth, making sustainable choices that protect the soil, support biodiversity, and ensure the farm thrives for generations to come.

We are passionate about locally grown flowers. Supporting our community and working with florists, designers, and flower lovers who share our values allows us to bring the very best of our farm to homes, businesses, and celebrations.

MEET THE FAMILY

Four generations of passion — shaping Jonima into what it is today.

CO FOUNDER

Ingrid Padovano

Ingrid makes the wheels turn. The go to person in problem solving and making any project work.

Passionate about gardening and a florist, she helped create a floral oasis that has developed into a deep fascination of the botanical world.

A self-taught photographer and storyteller, she has encapsulated the flower farm journey. The changing of the seasons and the life cycle of the farm inspire her in all that is done on the farm and challenge her creatively. Being, constantly taken by surprise by what the farm creates, her greatest joy as an artist is to be able to gather and share what the changing seasons bring.

CO FOUNDER AND FARMER

John Padovano

The farmer and entrepreneur. With knowledge of three generations, the soil has been flowing through his fingertips since he was a small child. He is the go-to man on planting, irrigation, crop management, and general “how to”.

He keeps the team moving and evolving. His greatest asset on the farm is his ability to adapt and change, to think outside the box. To blend old and new farming techniques to improve the philosophy of our farm.

He loves a good chat and these days you will mostly find him selling the blooms and telling you all about them.

THE SALES MANAGER

Nicola Padovano

Being surrounded by colour and flowers from her first step, she has a creative flair and an eye for colour that has evolved naturally. Her understanding of the seasons and colour lets her magically weave flowers together with ease.

With her deep knowledge of the flower industry and her understanding of customers’ needs she organises flower logistics and the markets. Sending the blooms from the field to vase.

THE FARM MANAGER

Marco Padovano

He is the one in the middle of all the action.

The Organiser of everything all farming- planting, crop management, picking, soil and plant health and farm team logistics.

He brings a passion and enthusiasm that is shared from past generations. Happiest on the tractor, envisioning how the farm will evolve and finding new ways to bring the farm into the future.

THE FARM TECHNICIAN

Luca Padovano

With a keen eye for detail. He is the Mr fix it - from machinery and irrigation to carpentry. On the farm there is not one team member that does not call out his name.

His ability to view problems from a different perspective challenges the team to think in different ways. He eagerly takes on new farm concepts and integrates them with true and tried farming techniques.

In managing farm projects, he has become the backbone of the farm, bringing the farm vision to life.

THE GLUE TO THE TEAM - THE CARER

Daniella Padovano

With her love of cooking she feeds and sustains the team. She experiments and expands her culinary skills- we are all her willing participants.

She cares for the “animal team” of the farm. Tending and loving the chickens and dogs that provide and protect our team and the flowers.

She moves in and out of the flower world, bringing a bolt of energy.

These days you will find her at the farmers’ markets running the show with finesse. Happy to tell the goings on of the farm.
